Communities of Practice 2023
Our Communities of Practice allow kaiako to engage in kōrero and new ideas, implement them into practice alongside other kaiako within our Kāhui Ako. They cover a range of topics connected to the goals of our Kāhui Ako, which are priorities for each of our kura.
We have four Communities of Practice in Terms 2 and 3:
Term 2: Week 3: Thursday 11 May - 3.30 to 4.30pm
Term 2: Week 7: Thursday 8 June - 3.30 to 4.30pm
Term 3: Week 3: Thursday 3 August - 3.30 to 4.30pm
Term 3: Week 7: Thursday 31 August - 3.30 to 4.30pm

Working in partnership with Te Ātiawa Tenths to identify, develop, share, and celebrate stories specific to our rohe.

Whakawhanaungatanga creates positive, collaborative relationships, helps strengthen social connectedness, enhances the mana of all people involved, and improves learning outcomes.

Learning in Aotearoa
Inquire into aspects of learning design, collaboration and ako with ākonga, with kaiako and with whānau.

Looking deeper into Te Mātaiaho - the refreshed curriculum document to understand what it means for us and how we might begin to achieve the intended outcomes.
