​I liked the provision of the reflective tools for evaluating where we are at in our leadership journey.

Week 9 saw our ASLs and WSLs gather together again for our termly hui, focused on change leadership and project/inquiry design. Facilitated by Karen Spencer and Nicki Read (DP, Newtown), we walked through a range of tools to help us:

• re-connect with each other as a community,
• focus on what was in our spheres of influence and control,
• reflect on what drives us, and what people see (or don't see) of our work, and
• understand the nature of Kāhui Ako as a network in a system - and what that might mean for managing our roles. This included thinking about "managing polarities", rather than solving problems. Credit to Leadership Lab for inspiration here.

The rest of the session invited the team to focus in on purposeful actions for Term 3, and closed with a commitment to these. We look forward to seeing what emerges!
